Strategy consulting for CEOs

Direct execution and measurable profitability — not a document that ends up in a drawer.

Consultores de Cyrrus presentando planeación estratégica en conferencia

We diagnose your business in depth, define priorities together with your leadership team, and lay out an actionable roadmap, with artificial intelligence applied to data analysis for faster, better-founded decisions.

  • In-depth business diagnosis, not an organizational-climate survey.
  • Priorities and success metrics defined from day one.
  • Guided implementation — the same team that diagnoses also executes.

This is the Construct phase within the full CIRA Method.

The foundation

What is strategy consulting?

Strategy consulting is an external professional service that helps a company's leadership define its medium- and long-term direction, make critical decisions, and translate them into measurable objectives (KPIs) every area can execute. At Cyrrus it doesn't end in a document: the same team that runs the diagnosis stays for execution and adjusts the plan with real business data.

What is strategy consulting for?

  • An outside viewIt brings an objective perspective, free of internal politics, to decide what to prioritize and what to stop doing.
  • GrowthIt defines where and how to grow (new markets, products, or business units) with a business case to back it.
  • Efficiency and profitabilityIt uncovers capital leaks, silos, and processes that consume resources without producing a return.
  • TransformationIt aligns business strategy with technology, so every investment in ERP, data, or AI answers a concrete objective.
  • Governance and executionIt turns the plan into KPIs, owners, and tracking dashboards the board can review.

The problems CEOs who call us have in common

You've spent months with the same problems: meetings that don't produce decisions, managers who don't take accountability, and cash flow that doesn't reflect how hard you're working. That's not bad luck — it's a strategic execution problem, and it has a solution.

01

Lack of alignment

You have a well-built strategic plan. The problem is that 90 days later, every manager interprets it differently and no one is accountable for results.

02

Data blindness

You need 2 weeks to know how the month closed. By the time you have the numbers, the opportunity is gone.

03

Investments without return

You invested in consulting, training, new processes — but can't show your board how much better the business is doing.

04

Founder dependency

The operation works because you're present. When you're away for a week, everything falls apart. That's not scaling — that's dependency.

05

Underused technology

Expensive tools the team doesn't adopt or take advantage of. You invest in technology and don't see the return on that investment.

Why CEOs choose us

Direct execution, not 200-page reports

Most consulting firms hand you a 200-page report and disappear. We stay until the changes are working in the real operation — not in the slides.

Benefits

Benefits of strategy consulting

Decide today, not in 3 months

We eliminate executive guesswork. We consolidate the operation into control dashboards with agile KPIs, revealing the real capital leaks and profit areas.

Diagnoses that actually get implemented

We condense months of inoperative diagnosis into a focus on early implementation, executing tangible improvements weeks ahead of the corporate calendar.

More profit, same resources

We reorganize your corporate flow. We eliminate dependencies, departmental silos, and overlapping expenses to boost profit margins with the same resources.

The company runs without you hovering

We prepare companies to adapt to changes in their environment. We design operating plans that help sustain the business's profitability and stability.

Less firefighting

We standardize processes so day-to-day operations run autonomously. We deliver greater operational control to unclog management's tactical tasks.

Board-ready reports

We consolidate financial and operational KPIs into a single corporate governance dashboard, so every board session has reliable, actionable information.

CXaaS

Executive leadership as a Service

Does your organization need senior executive leadership but isn't ready for a full-time hire? We put senior executives at your disposal — under an "as a Service" model — to cover critical technology, cybersecurity, and customer experience roles with the same rigor as an in-house C-Level.

Consultor senior de Cyrrus definiendo la hoja de ruta con el equipo

CIOaaS

Executive technology leadership: IT governance, enterprise architecture, and aligning technology with business strategy.

CTOaaS

Senior technical leadership to define the technology roadmap, evaluate vendors, and ensure execution of critical projects.

CCSOaaS

Executive cybersecurity leadership: risk management, regulatory compliance, and incident response at the highest level.

Scope

Strategy consulting services

Each service can be engaged on its own or as part of the Build phase of the CIRA Method.

01

Corporate strategy

We define the organization's medium- and long-term vision, business portfolio, and investment priorities, and bring them down to a roadmap with owners and KPIs.

02

Business strategy

We ground the strategy in each business unit: value proposition, target markets, operating model, and measurable commercial and financial goals.

03

IT strategy and digital transformation

We align technology with the business: target architecture and a portfolio of initiatives (ERP, CRM, data, AI) prioritized by impact, each with its business case.

04

Shared services centers

We design shared services centers for finance, HR, procurement, or IT, with their governance model, processes, and service levels.

05

Business continuity plan

We identify critical processes, analyze the impact of a disruption, and define response and recovery plans so operations don't stop.

Jackson Bohorquez

CEO & Founder, Cyrrus Consulting Services

Jackson Bohorquez, founder of Cyrrus and creator of the CIRA method, leads the strategic diagnoses. Before founding the firm he was an IT director: he was on the receiving end of strategy consulting, which is why the same team that diagnoses stays for execution.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about strategy consulting

Three things. The same team that runs the diagnosis stays for execution, instead of handing over a report and leaving. We start implementing from week 1, not at the end of the diagnosis. And we're vendor-agnostic, so the strategy never ends up recommending the technology someone wants to sell. Results are measured in business indicators, not in the page count of the report.

A company needs strategic consulting when plans exist but aren't executed consistently across areas, when financial indicators take weeks to become available for decision-making, or when business growth depends too heavily on the constant presence of the founder or leadership team. It's also the right moment when a mid-size or large corporation needs business transformation, IT strategy, or business continuity in the face of a change in market, technology, or organizational structure, and requires an external partner to help execute — not just diagnose.

As a reference, the Build phase of the CIRA method takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on organization size and how many areas are involved, and covers the diagnostic, the roadmap, and its prioritization by impact.

A CTO as a Service gives you access to the judgment and the experience without the fixed cost of a full-time executive, and it is the right figure when a company needs senior technology direction but does not have the daily decision volume to justify the role. The practical difference is dedication, not depth of judgment.

A diagnostic of the current state of processes and technology, a roadmap prioritized by business impact over a defined horizon, the business case for the highest-weight initiatives, and the criteria against which any later technology decision will be evaluated.

Those are the following phases of the CIRA Method. Once the roadmap defines what needs to be solved, Identify selects the technology (ERP, CRM, or other), Realize manages the implementation project, and Adopt makes sure the organization actually uses it. You can hire just the strategic diagnosis or the full engagement.
